- GOLD FILL -

Gold filled products are a great, quality alternative to the much more expensive solid karat gold.  It's the economical way to enjoy the same desirable properties and luster of solid gold, without the big price tag.
Gold filled is an actual layer of gold pressure bonded to another metal such as brass. It’s not to be confused with gold plating as gold filled is around 15 times thicker than plated jewelry. Gold filled jewelry will not wear off over time, and if taken care of properly it can last a lifetime. People who are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled jewelry without worries of any allergic reaction.

- GOLD VERMEIL -

Gold vermeil, or just vermeil, refers to items made of silver that are plated with a thin layer of gold. The most notable difference between vermeil and gold-plated pieces is in the metals that make up their base. In order for an item to be called vermeil, it must have a core made of silver.
In the U.S., there is a minimum thickness requirement for the plating on gold vermeil, where there are no such requirements for gold-plated items.

- STERLING SILVER -

Sterling silver is an alloy that is almost fully comprised of pure silver. The exact amount of silver content is 92.5%. The remaining 7.5% is almost always copper. The primary purpose of introducing a small percentage of copper into a silver product is to give the silver some additional strength and durability. Silver, when in its pure state, can be easily damaged. With silver that is sterling, customers can be more confident in the durability of the silver products they purchase.

Gold Fill & Sterling Silver Care:

Avoid perfume, hairspray & other types of lotions that may contain harsh chemicals.
Clean regularly with mildly sudsy water, rinse well and pat dry.
Polish occasionally with a jewelry polishing cloth.

Gold Vermeil Care:

To extend the life of your vermeil jewelry, avoid wearing when washing hands, showering, applying lotion, using harsh chemicals or working out. To clean, buff gently with a soft and dry 100% cotton cloth or a microfiber cloth. Do not use jewelry cleaner on vermeil jewelry.
